Maintaining your Têt Maré
The Têt Marés are lined in satin/silk. For, it is important to follow certain rules for its maintenance.
Washing
To avoid color bleeding, the first wash should be done by hand. Soak the Têt Maré for at least an hour in cold water with salt and/or white vinegar (to fix the colors).
The next washes can be done:
- By hand : The Têt Marés are quite easy to wash. The ideal, if you don't want to damage them, is to soak them in a basin of water with a little white vinegar and salt.
-In the washing machine:
It is possible to wash your Têt Marés in the washing machine, but cold and never above 30°C. For machine washes, we advise you to use a washing net , on sale on our site.
Drying
Do not twist the fabric when spinning, so as not to deform your turban.
We advise you not to put your Têt Maré in the dryer.

Ironing
Iron at low temperature to prevent the satin from creasing.
Attention the heat can damage the satin/silk.
Tasks
Oil stains can be very stubborn, especially on satin fabric.
To remove an oil stain, place crushed bread crumbs on top, leave for a few minutes, then remove with a brush.

Another technique is to gently rub the stain with dishwashing liquid, then wash.
